This film is a tribute to the Kids of Nubia. It’s a passing of the flame. Just as Mounib once handed the torch to Mounir, today Mounir passes it to Wegz ; a modern voice of the youth whose journey mirrors the struggles and hopes of millions.

At its core, this is a coming-of-age story that reflects the lives of countless rural Egyptian youth who leave their villages behind ; creating towns emptied of their young.
